Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2025/10/18. I like to open with SHOUT and ALIKE - together they cover all five vowels and several useful consonants.

Great start! ALIKE gives us two vowels right away - A and E are both in the word (yellow). SHOUT confirms that H is also in the word. So I have A, E, and H to work with.

I try HEAPY to test placing H at the beginning and see if I can position the vowels better. This locks H in position 1 (green) and confirms A and E are present but misplaced.

Perfect progress! HARED gives me excellent placement information - H is correct in position 1, A in position 2, and E in position 4. This confirms R is NOT in the word, which is very helpful elimination. The pattern is now HA_E_.

With the pattern HA_E_ and knowing R is absent, I need to find a letter that fits in position 3. Since I already have H, A, and E confirmed, I try HAVEN which completes the pattern perfectly.

Answer found: HAVEN - solved in 5 guesses! HAVEN means a safe or peaceful place, a sanctuary. The key breakthrough was using HARED to lock in multiple letter positions at once.
