#1595 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2025-10-31 - ABHOR
Date: 2025-10-31
Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2025/10/31. I like to open with ALIKE and SHOUT - together they cover all five vowels and several useful consonants.
Great start! From ALIKE I learn that A is correctly positioned at position 1 (green). This is excellent - I already have the first letter locked in! From SHOUT I get H and O are in the word but not in those positions. So I have A, H, and O to work with.
Next I try DOMBO to test new consonants while attempting to place the known letters. This is excellent - B and O are confirmed present (yellow), and combined with the previous clues, I now know A is at position 1, and O and H are somewhere in the remaining positions.
Great progress! I try ANNOY to test new consonants and better position the known letters. This is fantastic - A locks in position 1 (green) and O locks in position 4 (green)! Combined with knowing B and H are present from previous guesses, the pattern is now A__O_ with B and H to fill the remaining positions!
Answer found: ABHOR - solved in 5 guesses! ABHOR means to regard with disgust or hatred, to strongly dislike something or someone. The key breakthrough was using ANNOY to lock in A at position 1 and O at position 4, which established the A__O_ pattern and made the final solution straightforward.
