#1597 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2025-11-02 - RABID

Date: 2025-11-02

Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2025/11/02. I like to open with ALIKE and SHOUT - together they cover all five vowels and several useful consonants.

A
L
I
K
E
S
H
O
U
T

Good start! From ALIKE I learn that R and I are in the word (both yellow). SHOUT misses completely, which is fine - it helps eliminate common consonants. So I have R and I to work with, suggesting a word with these consonants positioned somewhere.

N
Y

Next I try RAINY to test new consonants while attempting to place the known letters. This is excellent - R locks in position 1 (green) and A locks in position 2 (green)! I also learn that I is still present (yellow) but not in position 3. The pattern is now RA___ with I somewhere in the remaining positions.

P

D

Great progress! I try RAPID to test new consonants while maintaining the RA pattern. This is fantastic - R, A, I, and D all lock in their correct positions! I also learn that I is present but not in position 3. I now have the pattern RA_ID with the final letter being I.

Answer found: RABID - solved in 5 guesses! RABID means having extreme or unreasonable enthusiasm or devotion to something, or can relate to rabies in medical contexts. The key breakthrough was using RAPID to establish the RA_ID pattern and knowing all the letters, which made finding the final arrangement straightforward.
