#1601 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2025-11-06 - GUISE
Date: 2025-11-06
Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2025/11/06. I like to open with ALIKE and SHOUT - together they cover all five vowels and several useful consonants.
Fantastic start! From ALIKE I immediately get excellent information - I and E are both correctly positioned! This is amazing - I already have the pattern __I_E, with just three positions to figure out. Since ALIKE already gave me two vowels, I decided to skip SHOUT and try a word that could better reveal the missing letters.
With such a great first guess, I try SHINE to test new consonants while maintaining the established I and E positions. This gives me great information - S is present (yellow). Combined with the previous __I_E pattern, I now know the word contains I, E, and S.
Great progress! I try PRISE to test new consonants while maintaining the I and E pattern. This is fantastic - I, S, and E all lock in their correct positions! I now have the pattern __ISE with just the first two letters to determine.
With the __ISE pattern already confirmed, I try DOUBT to test more vowels and consonants. This reveals that U is present (yellow) but not in the right positions yet. Since I know the word ends with __ISE and contains U, I consider GUISE as the logical solution.
Answer found: GUISE - solved in 5 guesses! GUISE means the outward appearance or manner of someone or something, often used to hide the true nature - like 'under the guise of friendship'. The key breakthrough was using PRISE to lock in the __ISE pattern, which made finding the final solution straightforward.
