#1604 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2025-11-09 - FUGUE
Date: 2025-11-09
Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2025/11/09. I like to open with ALIKE and SHOUT - together they cover all five vowels and several useful consonants.
ALIKE immediately tells me only the final E is correct -- the first four letters all go gray.SHOUT keeps the momentum going: the U in position 4 lights up green while the other letters fall away. Now I know the grid looks like ___UE with U fixed in slot 4 and E anchored at the end.
I pivot to ENDUE to see whether the answer hides double vowels or another placement for U/E. It reconfirms the U-E ending but doesn't add new letters, which also tells me there's one E and I still need two fresh consonants upfront.
QUEUE is my pattern probe. It locks U into position 2 as well as position 4 and confirms there isn't another E in the middle, leaving a clean _U_UE template. With most consonants already ruled out, F and G are the only pair that fit naturally.
Answer found: FUGUE. A fugue is a contrapuntal musical piece where voices chase each other with the same theme. The decisive moment was using QUEUE to prove the double-U structure, which made FUGUE the obvious finish.
