#1633 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2025-12-08 - GRAVY

Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2025/12/08. I usually open with ALIKE and SHOUT - together they cover all five vowels and several useful consonants.

Not great results with my openers! ALIKE only revealed that A is present but in the wrong position, eliminating L, I, K, E. SHOUT was even worse - all letters (S, H, O, U, T) were absent, which actually helped eliminate many possibilities.

With A present somewhere in the word, I tried GRAND as a strategic guess. This was perfect! G, R, A were all correct and perfectly placed in the first three positions. This gave me the pattern GRA__ with N and D eliminated. Then I tried GRAMP to test new possibilities for the last two letters, confirming M and P not present.

Next I tried GRAVY which finally worked! GRAVY is a sauce made from meat drippings, often served with roast dinners. The key breakthrough was GRAND, which revealed the first three letters and their positions, making it much easier to deduce the final answer.
