#1634 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2025-12-09 - SNIDE

Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2025/12/09. I usually open with ALIKE and SHOUT - together they cover all five vowels and several useful consonants.

Great start with ALIKE! I immediately found that I is correctly placed in the third position and E is correctly placed in the fifth position. I've also eliminated A, L, and K from consideration.

Second guess SPIDE was brilliant! It revealed that S belongs in the first position, and D is correctly placed in the fourth position. Now I have the pattern S_IDE with only the second letter unknown.

Victory in just 3 guesses! SNIDE means showing scorn or contempt in a mocking way. The key was using ALIKE to establish the I_E anchor at the end, then SPIDE to reveal almost the entire word structure. Sometimes two strategic guesses are all you need!
