#1638 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2025-12-13 - MISER

Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2025/12/13. I usually open with ALIKE and SHOUT - together they cover all five vowels and several useful consonants. But today ALIKE already revealed I and E, so I skipped SHOUT and tried PIECE instead.

Second guess PIECE confirmed I is correctly placed in the second position, and also revealed that E appears somewhere else in the word.

Third guess IMBED helped me discover more letters! M is present but misplaced, and importantly, E is correctly placed in the fourth position. Now I have the pattern _I_E_ with M placed somewhere.

Fourth guess MINES was very helpful! It confirmed M in the first position and I in the second position, with E already locked in the fourth position. S is present but in the wrong position (fifth), which means S must be in the third position.

Finally got it in 5 guesses! MISER means a person who is stingy with money. The key was building the word step by step: first I in position 2, then E in position 4, then M in position 1, and finally figuring out that S must be in position 3!
