#1647 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2025-12-22 - CONCH
Date: 2025-12-22
Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2025/12/22. I started with my usual opener ALIKE and SHOUT.
Tough start! From ALIKE I learned that none of the letters A, L, I, K, E are in the word. From SHOUT I discovered that O and H are present but in the wrong positions.
Third guess HORNY was a breakthrough! It confirmed that O is correctly placed in the 2nd position. The H from HORNY showed as present but wrong position, and R and Y were not in the word.
Fourth guess MONTH was very helpful! It revealed the pattern _ON_H with O in 2nd, N in 3rd, and H in 5th positions. M and T were not in the word.
Answer found! CONCH is a type of sea snail shell, often found on beaches and used as a trumpet or decorative object. The word comes from the Greek 'konche' meaning 'mussel or shell'. CONCH shells are known for their beautiful spiral shape and the sound they make when held to the ear. The key was systematically building the word from the confirmed letters O, N, and H, leading to CONCH as the perfect fit for the pattern.
