Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2025/12/24. I started with my usual opener ALIKE and SHOUT.

Good progress! From ALIKE I learned that L is present but not in position 2, and I eliminated A, I, K, and E from consideration. SHOUT was a breakthrough - it revealed that S is correctly placed in position 1 and O is correctly placed in position 3! I also eliminated H, U, and T.

Third guess BADLY helped narrow down L's position. Since L showed as present but not in position 4, and I already knew L wasn't in position 2 from ALIKE, L had to be in position 5! This gave me the pattern S_O_L with three letters locked in.

Answer found in 4 guesses! SPOOL is a cylinder or reel that thread, wire, or film can be wound around, like a spool of thread or fishing line. The key breakthrough was SHOUT locking in S and O in positions 1 and 3, followed by BADLY confirming L must be in position 5, leaving SPOOL as the only logical choice.
