Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2026/01/04. I started with my usual opener ALIKE and SHOUT.

From ALIKE I learned that only E is correct in position 5! A, L, I, and K were all absent. Second guess SHOUT revealed that S and O are present but not in positions 1 and 3 respectively.

Third guess PORNY was brilliant! It confirmed that P is correct in position 1 and O is correct in position 2! R, N, and Y were all absent. This narrowed it down to PO__E!

Answer found in 4 guesses! POSSE refers to a group of people gathered together or a posse of companions, often used in Western contexts to describe a group of riders or a team! The key insight was using PORNY to lock in the first two letters (PO), then realizing S must appear in the remaining positions since it was the only present letter left!
