Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2026/01/08. I started with my usual opener ALIKE.

From ALIKE I learned that A is present but not in position 1. L is correct in position 2. From SHOUT I learned that T is correct in position 5. S is present but not in position 1. O, U, and H were all absent.

Answer found in 3 guesses! BLAST means a strong gust of wind or an explosion, often used to describe something powerful and energetic - like 'the rocket blasted off' or 'we had a blast at the party'! The key insight was using ALIKE and SHOUT to quickly lock in L in position 2 and T in position 5, and realizing that A and S must fill the remaining positions to form a valid word!
