#1667 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2026-01-11 - QUARK
Date: 2026-01-11
Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2026/01/11. I started with my usual opener ALIKE and SHOUT.
From ALIKE I learned that A and I are present but not in positions 1 and 4 respectively. E, L, and K were all absent. Second guess SHOUT revealed that U is present but not in position 4. S, H, O, and T were all absent.
Third guess DRUNK was a breakthrough! R and U are present but not in positions 2 and 3. D and N were absent. Most importantly, K is correct in position 5!
Fourth guess PUFFY confirmed U is correct in position 2! P, F, and Y were all absent.
Fifth guess BREAD showed that A is not in position 4. Since position 2 and position 5 were already filled (U and K), A must be in position 3! Now I had the pattern _UA_K with R somewhere!
Answer found in 6 guesses! QUARK is a physics term referring to the fundamental particles that make up protons and neutrons - like 'up quark', 'down quark', or 'charm quark'! They're the building blocks of matter! The key insight was methodically eliminating letters and confirming K in position 5, then U in position 2. BREAD helped confirm the placement of R, leading me to QUARK as the only viable option!
