Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2026/01/13. I started with my usual opener ALIKE and SHOUT.

Tough start - from ALIKE I learned that absolutely nothing was correct! A, L, I, K, and E were all absent. Second guess SHOUT was much better - U and O are present but not in positions 4 and 3 respectively!.

Fourth guess MONEY revealed M is present.

Fifth guess CUBED confirmed U is correct in position 2 and B is present. Now I had all the letters: M, U, O, G, B - just needed to arrange them correctly!

Answer found in 6 guesses! GUMBO refers to a stew or soup, often made with okra, and can also describe a type of music or a type of food - like 'gumbo' or 'gumbo soup'! The key insight was getting U and G locked in positions 2 and 3 early with ALIKE and DRUGS. With M, O, B remaining for positions 1, 4, and 5, I tried the logical combination and GUMBO fit perfectly!
