#1678 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2026-01-22 - CLINK
Date: 2026-01-22
Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2026/01/22. I started with my usual opener ALIKE and SHOUT.
Excellent start! From ALIKE I learned that L and I are correct, and K is present. SHOUT eliminated all letters - none of S, H, O, U, T were in the answer.
Third guess FRANK revealed that N and K are correct in positions 4 and 5. With the information from first guess, the pattern is _LINK.
Fourth guess BLINK confirmed the pattern! L, I, N, and K are all correct in positions 2, 3, 4, and 5! B is absent.
Answer found in 5 guesses! CLINK means to make a sharp, ringing sound, often associated with the sound of glasses or coins - like 'the clink of glasses' or 'the clink of coins'! The key insight was using ALIKE and FRANK to quickly identify L, I, N, K and their correct positions, leading directly to CLINK!
