Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2026/01/23. I started with my usual opener ALIKE and SHOUT.
From ALIKE and SHOUT I learned that A and O are present.
Third guess MANDY revealed that A is correct in position 2 and N is present.
Fourth guess VAPOR revealed that O is correct in position 4 and R is present.
Fifth guess RACON was a breakthrough! A, O, N are all correct in positions 2, 4, and 5! R is present but not in position 1, so it must be in position 3. Now I had the pattern _ARON with just one letter to figure out!
Answer found in 5 guesses! BARON means a nobleman or a member of the nobility - like 'the baron of the manor' or 'the baron's estate'! The key insight was using ALIKE and SHOUT to quickly identify A and O, then MANDY and VAPOR to confirm their positions, leading directly to BARON!
