#1692 Wordle Answer and Hints for 2026-02-05 - SWOOP

Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2026/02/05. I started with my usual opener ALIKE and SHOUT.

ALIKE eliminated all letters - none of A, L, I, K, E were in the answer. From SHOUT I learned that S and O are correct in positions 1 and 3.

Third guess SPOON was a breakthrough! S, O, and O are all correct in positions 1, 3, and 4! P is present but not in position 2, so it must be in position 5. Now I had the pattern S_OOP.

Answer found in 4 guesses! SWOOP means to move or fly in a swooping motion - like 'the bird swooped down to catch a fish'! The key insight was using ALIKE, SHOUT, and SPOON to systematically identify S, W, O, O, P and their correct positions through elimination!
