Hi! I'm a Wordle fan from China. Here's my Wordle strategy for 2026/02/17. I started with my usual opener ALIKE and SHOUT.
ALIKE revealed that A is present. SHOUT revealed that S is correct in position 1 and U is present.
Third guess SANDY revealed that A and D are present.
Fourth guess SUPER revealed that U is not in position 2. U is not in position 2 or 4, so it's possibly in position 3. This reminds me of the S_UA_ pattern with D in the word.
Answer found in 5 guesses! SQUAD means a group of people working together - like 'the squad worked well together'! The key insight was testing the S_UA_ pattern to quickly identify the positions of all the letters.
